SHERBURN-IN-ELMET SCENERY for X-PLANE
=====================================

This addon scenery for X-Plane has been developed as two separate addons which work together to create a realistic environment for CIX VFR Club members at Sherburn-in-Elmet.
1) Sherburn-in-Elmet Aerodrome by Frank Fisher, new scenery modelled to more accurately represent the real world Sherburn-in-Elmet.
2) The splendid CIX VFR Club Clubhouse, hangar and barbecue area, originally designed by Pete Chapman and Ted Andrews for Biggin Hill in FS9, and expertly transported to Sherburn-in-Elmet for X-Plane by Max Symons.

UNZIP THE SHERBURN SCENERY ZIP FILE
===================================
1) Unzip the downloaded Sherburn_scenery.zip file in a temporary folder. Either print or keep on screen these instructions, because although installation is easy, there are a number of steps to take. Skip one and the installation may fail.
2) In addition to these instructions you will have two folders: EGCJ-Sherburn-in-Elmet and EGCJ-CIX-Clubhouse.
3) Open up the folder/location where X-Plane 11 is installed on your computer.
4) In this location there should be a number of sub-folders. Open the one called "Custom Scenery".
5) Put the two folders EGCJ-Sherburn-in-Elmet and EGCJ-CIX-Clubhouse, as they are, in your X-Plane Custom Scenery folder

SCENERY LIBRARIES
=================
This scenery requires the installation of a number of X-Plane Scenery Object Libraries.
If you have other Addon Scenery, you may already have some of these object libraries installed. If you have, they will also be in your X-Plane Custom Scenery Folder, so you can check before proceeding.
This scenery requires all of the following libraries: -
	FF_library_extended_LOD
	RE-Library
	OpensceneryX-Installer-Windows
	The Handy Objecys Library

DOWNLOADING THE SCENERY LIBRARIES
=================================
if any of these are not already in the Custom Scenery folder, you will need to download them from the internet, and move them into the custom scenery folder.
1) Go to the IVAO forums site at https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/category/165-libraries-for-scenery/
2) If you haven't done so already, create an IVAO forum account. Unless you do this you will not be able to download any files.
3) Scroll down each page of scenery libraries titles until you find each one. Find the Download button and click it to download the zip file.
4) After downloading, unzip each library (except OpensceneryX) in a temporary folder. Each zip file contains a folder and may contain some documents about the scenery. Put each of these folders into your X-Plane Custom Scenery folder. The documents can put there too if you wish, or deleted once you have read them.
5) Unzip the OpensceneryX-Installer-Windows downloaded file in a temporary folder. The file which is created is called OpensceneryX Installer.exe
6) Double-click this file to run the installer and follow the onscreen instructions. It will place the OpensceneryX library in your X-Plane Custom Scenery folder. You do not need to do it manually.

X-PLANE CONFIGURATION
=====================
1) Now you must run X-Plane to the "ready to fly" condition and then shut it down again. This allows X-Plane to record the new scenery libraries in a file called scenery-packs.ini.
2) In the X-Plane Custom Scenery folder, find the scenery-packs.ini. This is a text file which can be opened with Notepad.
3) Now re-order each line of the scenery-packs.ini file so that ALL the libraries listed above are BELOW the entry
		SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Global Airports/
and the two lines referring to Sherburn are at the top of the list immediately below the word SCENERY: -
I
1000 Version
SCENERY

SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/EGCJ-CIX-Clubhouse/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/EGCJ-Sherburn-in-Elmet/

4) Start X-Plane again and select as your airfield EGCJ and position as "EGCJCIX Helipad". You will find a welcoming tea or coffee with Garibaldi biscuits, when you go into the Clubhouse!

Notes
=====

This add-on has been designed to match both with the default EGCJ airfield in X-Plane 11, and Frank Fisher's version designed to Match the Ortho photoscenery add-on.
As well as the Clubhouse, Hangar, Marquee and barbecue, it a heli-pad, five members only aircraft parking places, and three visitors aircraft poarking places.
